Will cars be provided for travel, or do we need to use our own car?

Volkswagen cars will be provided to participants who register themselves for the event.

If I am not a Volkswagen owner, can I participate and will Volkswagen provide a vehicle at the Ladakh event?

Volkswagen Experiences welcome everyone. In our upcoming Ladakh expedition, participants will be equipped with fully fueled vehicles for the journey.

How many people can travel?

The Ladakh expedition can accommodate a maximum of 60 participants per group.

How many guests occupy each vehicle?

Each group will comprise 15 cars, with four individuals in each car. If you've signed up solo, you'll either be paired with another solo participant or assigned an experienced guide to ensure a safe journey.

What is the eligibility to participate ?

Individuals aged between 15 and 60 years. However, only those above 18 years, with a valid Indian driving license, will be eligible to drive.

Do we travel in a convoy?

Certainly! We'll maintain strict convoy travel during the expedition. However, there may be occasions when the convoy breaks up temporarily due to nature breaks, photo opportunities, or other personal requirements. During such instances, the convoy pace will slow down to accommodate rejoining, ensuring everyone can proceed together seamlessly.

Who covers my cost of coming to Chandigarh or Leh?

Please be advised that participants are responsible for covering the cost of transportation to reach the starting point of the drive. Rest assured, once you sign up, all necessary information will be provided to you, regarding the meeting point.

Please ensure your vehicle is suitable for the chosen route. Off-road vehicles are recommended for the Wilderness Expedition, while standard vehicles are suitable for the Coastal Odyssey.
Basic equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gear for a personalized experience.

Day 1 - December 08 | Guwahati

Spend the evening immersed in local culture, flavours, and rhythm — a perfect welcome to Assam.

Day 2 - December 09 | Guwahati → Kaziranga (250 km)

The convoy rolls out - from cityscapes to wilderness.

Flag off from Guwahati and cruise through lush tea estates and winding river valleys.
Arrive at Kaziranga - home to the iconic one-horned rhino.
Visit the Orchid Farm for a serene interlude amid nature's calm.
As dusk falls, experience a captivating local cultural performance that sets the tone for the journey ahead.

Day 3 - December 10 | Kaziranga → Tezpur (90 km)

From wild trails to charming towns.

Begin your day with a morning gypsy safari through Kaziranga's wilderness - rhinos, rivers, and rolling mist.

Day 4 - December 11 | Tezpur → Dirang (200 km)

Day 5 - December 12 | Dirang → Tawang (130 km)

Volkswagen sedans or SUVs will be provided to all registered participants for the experience. Each vehicle will be shared among four participants for a comfortable and engaging drive. If you're registering as a group, we'll be happy to ensure everyone travels together in the same vehicle

Absolutely. Volkswagen Experiences are open to everyone. For the North-East Expedition, participants will be provided with fully-fueled Volkswagen sedans or SUVs for the duration of the journey ensuring a seamless and enjoyable driving experience.

The North-East Expedition will host an exclusive group of up to 26 participants, ensuring an intimate, well-curated, and personalized experience throughout the journey.

The Volkswagen Experiences - North-East Expedition will feature eight Volkswagen vehicles, with four participants per vehicle to ensure comfort and camaraderie on the drive. Solo travellers will be paired with fellow participants or accompanied by an experienced guide to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.

Participants between the ages of 12 and 65 years are welcome to join the expedition. However, only individuals above 18 years of age holding a valid Indian driving licence will be permitted to drive during the experience.

Yes, the expedition will be conducted in a well-coordinated convoy to ensure safety, comfort, and a shared driving experience. At times, the convoy may briefly disperse for photo stops, refreshment breaks, or personal needs in such instances, the pace will be adjusted to allow everyone to regroup and continue the journey together seamlessly.

Participants will be responsible for their travel arrangements and expenses to reach the official starting point of the drive. All arrangements from that point onward will be managed as part of the curated experience.
